Promotes that education can lead to a stable life, teaches values, builds confidence, create opportunities, teaches critical thinking, teaches interpersonal skills, builds character, provides knowledge in other areas such as art, music, business and history as well as teaches goal setting.

Empowers participants to have a positive self-image which goes beyond physical appearance. Positive self-image teaches participants to value themselves and improves their perceptions of self-worth and self-confidence, believing that they can accomplish anything.

Promotes the participation in civic and community service by engaging in service activities. Community service projects will provide participants with the ability to identify community needs and volunteer.

Teaches skills to communicate and interact with others, both verbally and non-verbally as well as help with gaining confidence in their ability to approach situations and complete task successful.

Promotes not being afraid to take a chance and to stay determined. Despite difficulty or delay there can still be success.
